Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

Contact forms

When visitors leave us information from any Contact forms on the site, we collect the data shown in the form for our own purposes. Information like your name, number, & vehicle information will be emailed to the local shop for a quotation. This information is analysed by our staff and returned through the media you left with us on the form. We don’t use any data collected for marketing purposes other than to contact you for more information regarding the content. All submitted data is retained indefinitely for internal purposes.

This site currently only uses Google Analytics to track our users experience. This gives us the ability to see what pages were viewed and the deration of the visit on each page. It also enables us to track the users ISP Geolocation country and the spoken language of the web browser. This information is only used to show users experience through the site’s content.

Who we share your data with

We don’t use any data collected for marketing purposes other than to contact you for more information regarding the content submitted. All information collected from this website is only used for internal purposes only. Any post comment that have been submitted or has been published will be visible to the internet after it has been reviewed. All information submitted to this site are stored on a secure 3rd party web server.

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

For users that register on our website (if any), we also store the personal information they provide in their user profile. All users can see, edit, or delete their personal information at any time (except they cannot change their username). Website administrators can also see and edit that information.
